ABOUT LEGAL NURSE LA

My name is Jeanette Munden RN, CLNC.  I am a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant and a Registered Nurse.  

I have worked for over 26 years as a Registered Nurse in a variety of Institutions.  Including the first Magnet Hospital in the United States, The University of Washington Medical Center.  It is rated as one of the top ten hospitals in the U.S.  I was employed there when we accomplished Magnet Status.  Magnet Status is the highest accreditation an institute can accomplish for Nursing Care.

I am a Magnet Nurse.

I have worked in a multitude of specialties.  I have a vast skill set and knowledge base.

I have also been involved in Nursing Union work, protecting the professionalism of nurses while advocating for a safe work environment.  During this time I was involved in hospital local bargaining, successfully navigating and assisting in establishing nursing contract language.

My Philosophy

Prevention is Key.  Safety is always the priority.  When Standards of Care are deviated from, errors and injuries occur to patients, to people.  My desire is to see less harm occur by prevention, holding the Standards of Care up, and educating people.
